Pamela "Poison Ivy" Isley Job:- Title Here, do not put stupid titles, this is for your occupation only. If they have no occupation then you leave it blank. Species:- Human/Plant hybrid Group:- What group are they allied with? World:- Earth (Arkhamverse) Age:- 29 Gender:- Female Sexuality:- Pan Personality, Ivy when's she's calm is at best usually indifferent to humanity, or "worthless meatsacks" as a whole. She'd just as soon be left alone by the lot of them then have any interaction whatsoever. That said though, when she suddenly snaps in anger she has no qualms with the idea of simply wiping them all out. Though the trip to this new place has calmed her a bit, so while she may still lash out in anger, she's forgotten why she developed such a hate for humanity, so it's far more targeted and less kill everyone. Though despite her relative neutrality it might be hard to guess it as she tends to be flirtatious, particularly with anyone that may be useful. Whether she has any real interest in them beyond that or simply habit is up for debate. Though, while she at best rarely identifies with humans anymore and would say otherwise, she hasn't completely let go of her humanity. Where as an adult harming her plants would likely endure severe consequences, younger children that likely don't know better would just get a harsh scolding they likely wouldn't forget (and possibly leave them terrified of plants). She believes they are at least malleable enough to not be like there parents, who she sees destroying nature at home, and can still learn. She can also at times be nice or helpful, more so since her trip here as she better recalls being Pamela Isley more than she does Poison Ivy, though recalling what happened to her still means that damage certainly remains. Though when it comes to relationships, she does't bother with gender, it's more about who interests her for whatever reason. Someone like Harles it's her good and nice, if not twisted, nature and her similar background, another it might be like the bat they seem immune to her mind control, it varies. Though she also has no time for things like jealousy and all, so relationships with her are strictly non-exclusive.
The History Pamela Lillian Isley grew up wealthy with emotionally distant parents. She later studied advanced botanical biochemistry at a university with Alec Holland under Dr. Jason Woodrue. Isley, a timid shy girl, is easily seduced by her professor. Woodrue injects Isley with poisons and toxins as an experiment, causing her transformation.[10] She nearly dies twice as a result of these poisonings, driving her insane. Later, Woodrue flees from the authorities leaving Isley in the hospital for six months. Enraged at the betrayal, she suffers from violent mood swings, being sweet one moment and evil the next. When her boyfriend has a car accident after mysteriously suffering from a massive fungal overgrowth, Isley drops out of school and leaves Seattle, eventually settling in Gotham City. [blank space is all the stuff she doesn't really recall] Batman, whilst searching for the Warden in the Penitentiary of Arkham Asylum, comes across Poison Ivy in her cell. Sensing that her plants were in pain, Ivy pleads desperately with Batman to save them. Not sharing her concern, and knowing full well what kind of havoc Ivy could wreak if released, Batman disregards her plea, leaves her in her cell, and continues looking for the Warden. Soon after, Harley Quinn also makes her way past Ivy and Ivy begs her to let her out so she can rescue her "babies." At first, Harley refuses because Ivy isn't on Joker's 'party list;' however, she gives in rather quickly and unlocks the cell door, leaving Poison Ivy free to make her way to the Botanical Gardens. After discovering Joker's secret lab in the Gardens, Batman goes to Ivy, whose plants had been used to help create the venom. Ivy refuses to help at first, deciding instead to let the Joker "have his fun," but eventually agrees after Batman threatens to destroy her plants if she doesn't cooperate. Ivy then tells Batman that the spores needed to create the anti-venom are produced by a plant located deep in Killer Croc's lair. Before leaving, Batman instructs Ivy to return to her cell or he'll be back, to which Ivy replies that she'll be waiting for him. The Joker subsequently injects Ivy with the new Titan formula. Instead of creating a "monster plant" as the Joker expected, Ivy remains the same on the outside (although with glowing green irises) but gains an enhancement to her chrolokinetic abilities, inducing rapid growth and evolution amongst her plants, even among the newly mutated plants were a species that produced glowing airborne toxic spores (though it should be noted that Batman said that Ivy used a similar species of plants during an attack on Gotham a year ago). Ivy takes the opportunity to take over the entire island with her newly mutated plants, vowing to kill Batman and eventually, the Joker himself, much to his delight; looking forward to the coming battle. Batman eventually returns to the Gardens with the anti-venom formula, where Ivy beckoned Batman to come to her lair. Along the way, Batman was attacked by two security guards under Ivy's control, being forced to defeat them both. Batman attempted to inject Ivy's plants with the anti-venom before being stopped by an attacking Ivy, who forced him to contend with more Arkham guards infected by her mind-controlling plant spores, including William North and Eddie Burlow. The two engaged in a long and strenuous fight resulting in Ivy's defeat. After the Joker's defeat, Ivy was taken back to her cell by the Arkham staff. After being given an overdose of Titan by the Joker, and her attempted escape and mind-control of the Asylum guards during Arkham Island Lockdown, Poison Ivy was left to die in her airtight cell by Warden Sharp, who blamed her for the mass destruction of Arkham Island. As her health declined she prayed for some form of salvation. Though, in it's own funny way, it would come from the priest sent in to give her last rites. As it would turn out, he was covered in pollen and the like from the plants outside his church, which she managed to use in conjunction with her own unique biology to create a cure for her self. Which it gave her some satisfaction to see Sharp so infuriated with the fact he was still stuck with her, that didn't change though that if given the chance, she'd make him pay for her treatment. Abilities You must pick out up to FIVE abilities for a canon character. The rest have been forgotten upon coming to these worlds, they can however be remembered at a later date, when you've earned enough 'credits' to get a remembered ability. Any OP abilities will be asked to be toned down. Original characters start with up to THREE abilities. Royalty, Nobility and Leader OCs gain 1 extra ability slot. Abilities may be remembered, learned or bought. Your abilities must meet the following criteria to be accepted.:- 1. Does not last more than three turns if it is an enhancement or buff. 2. Does not insta kill (kill is never allowed unless the rper has told you that you can.), or instantly knock another character out, you may however have one that activates after you've used 2 previous skills/abilities (and it must only be able to be used ONCE a thread) the two previous abilities must be CHAINED together, one EACH post, so the whole chain would take at least three posts to complete (state which abilities must be used before you can use the instant knock out ability). 3. Characters that start with instant knock out abilities MUST have an item from the shop. A.k.a. this will not be possible to gain unless you've got previous characters. 4. Make sure you state, how long it lasts. 5. Make sure you state if the range is low, mid or high. 6. Make sure you state whether it does low, mid or high damage (there is no very high or extreme unless you've earned it, it doesn't matter if you're Goku, you're in the same boat as everyone else.). 7. How long do you have to wait before you use it again. A low damage and low range skill could easily be used again so you could use it every two turns (1 turn for low range + 1 turn for low damage = 2 turns/posts), add another turn on to your cool down for each level increase, so a mid range but low damage would be three turns (2 turns for mid range + 1 turn for low damage = 3) before being used again. |
