Plot?

About one hundred and fifty years ago, the worlds were separate. There was no alliance, no divergience and nothing inbetween. They were just worlds with people or animals. Some had mythological creatures, some had things only dreamed of in fantasy.

That was until the ships came and landed on what's now called Home World. They were travellers from the great beyond and they explained that the world had been watched for many years. The progress of the creatures in the world monitored and finally they were to a standard good enough to have a 'gate' and other technological wonders bestowed upon them.

This Gate along with many others were erected in order to allow travel from Home world to a great many other worlds, however, one would have to pass through a place called 'The Grey World' first. In the Grey World, there were three sectors. The first was for wars, any wars worlds had were settled there, the second sector was for commerce and trading between worlds, the third and largest sector was where the poor lived. It was also where a lot of criminals lived and the undesirables. Slavers came here to catch new slaves, shady deals were run here and many other things. There were of course those who had made a nice decent life there in the grey world but it wasn't often and those communities were very strict on who they let in and executions, barbaric gladatorial fights for freedom and the like were normal everyday things.

Other worlds had different laws and cultures, not only that but people started to mingle, it took a few years for the people of Home World to adjust to these new life forms but in time things were good. The worlds were at peace.

That was of course until one worlds leaders, Delinau suggested that the worlds create an alliance, because after all peace can only last for so long. They were wise and they suggested they make sure to keep things peaceful by not just making an alliance but by assiginging certain races certain roles, the ones they were indeed best at over all. This however didn't sit very well with some worlds. Voress were happy to be included in the alliance as were Home World.

However Yagha, Veria and of course The Grey World were not. People who agreed would flee to the worlds that were to be included in the alliance. Two new powers rose up fighting each other for territory but not really going anywhere. The Rebels and the Divergence.

The rebels in Yagha simply wanted a little freedom, they didn't want to be confined to a set way of life, they didn't want to have to take specific jobs, they didn't want to have to live in specific locations as per their race.

The Divergence of Veria wanted everything to stay as it was in their world, they wanted their slavery, their barbaric tournaments, their pillaging, murder, black market and everything else. They wanted total freedom without morals or rules per say.

Then there were the people that were Neutral, the ones that were on all worlds but didn't pick sides. Often they'd be mercenaries or anything else so long as they were being paid for it. Normal Civilians who didn't want anything to do with wars and the like were included in this group.

The Divergence started trying to get rid of the rebels who were in their way so that the Alliance couldn't grow, but they didn't act fast enough. The Alliance grew to be strong and with that the Divergence have always tried to find a weakness in the Alliances plans.

The Alliance however figured out a way to bring those from other universes in to their own worlds. With that, the Divergence copied the technology and started to travel far and wide, either scouting out people to join them or forcing people to join them, not only that but they started to destroy the inhabitants of worlds. The Alliance and Rebels came to the rescue of those worlds, some were ultimately destroyed to stop the Divergence from grabbing hold of them. The transportation devices were destroyed, along with the scientists who made them. Another way of stopping the Divergence from taking control of the universes.

The Alliance has however, managed to warp certain areas of Home World and a few of the other worlds. This however is random and uncharted. They cannot control it and it brings random people from random universes to this one.

Currently the Divergence and Alliance are on 'peaceful' terms. The Rebels have also taken part in this peace treaty. There's nothing going on other than more and more people entering the worlds each day from various universes.

However, all it will take is one side going first and breaking that peace treaty for war to once again break out and worlds to destroy one another.
