Dislikes • Bullies. • Needless murder, if the death is justified then she doesn't mind. • Pain, she's not a big fan of it. • The pain of those around her, sometimes it becomes too much for her to handle and she'll break down. • Bitter foods. • Being caged. • Her parents. • The Felid. Personality Traits • Naive • Lonely • Sympathetic • Courageous • Brave • Faith in others • Forgiving • Generous • Stubborn • Distant • Cold • Withdrawn The History Yinei was born to two loving parents, the king and queen of the angels, though her birth was joyous, others in the light province despaired. The people who despaired felt that this new angel, this princess was going to be just like her parents. Cruel to those who were in servitude and careless when it came to the feelings of others, yet they were so very wrong. Her parents wanted her to be like them but they soon found that she was far from it. She would cry, all day, all night, apart from when in the company of someone calm or someone who was apathetic, only then would she be silenced. Only then would she sleep and rest. As Yinei grew up they realized something was wrong here. If someone close by started to cry, she would too, if someone was angry inwardly she'd shy away from them and hide. She seemed to be reacting to how people were emotionally within. With that she was kept within the castle grounds at all times until she was able to hone her ability and at least get some sort of hold on it. Her parents still loved her even with her empathy. Of course this also meant she grew up to be very kind to her servants because she could sense their fear of what might happen and would even allow them to talk to her to help with any problems if they were sad. She wouldn't force anything upon them and would make sure that her servants had enough food and drink to keep them content, along with not working them extremely hard. She was much, much more lenient than her parents ever would be and it was the reason why some of them came to her directly asking if they could serve her rather than her parents. Of course, this upset her a lot when her parents would refuse. Eventually it came time to get Yinei two bodyguards. Mostly because she had a habit of breaking out and her parents didn't want her getting hurt so why stop her when instead they could just have two bodyguards stick by her wherever she went. Going on walks around the light province, escaping Rapture and wandering in to the gray. In to the cross fields no less. With the first step, she froze. Blue eyes roaming over all the graves marked only by little wooden crosses. It caused her to cry. The emotions that lingered in this place was tearing her apart but she walked through the place regardless of what it was doing to her. Though the supernaturals were crossing the gray and attacked. Of course, her bodyguards had to manhandle her and drag her back in to Rapture lest she end up hurting herself. Since that day she's wanted to go back. Especially since one of her bodyguards gave his life, so she thought, he was actually enslaved and had to break out so he's been roaming around the gray for a long time now. For the last hundred or so years she's been honing her abilities, she's learned two more but she still has to work on them to make them work properly. She doesn't like having to close her own emotions off but if she really has to she will. Her other bodyguard was fired recently as well so now she's looking for new servants, in the most obscure places because she wants to hand pick them herself rather than have her parents just throw some one at her. She understands that people do not like being servants but she also will explain that in serving her they won't be hurt by her, they will have warm comfortable beds, a roof over their head, hot meals, alcohol and drink if they really want it and she doesn't really mind what they do so long as they do their job and don't break the law. Abilities • Empathy - The ability to sense other people’s emotions but she cannot control it when she isn't concentrating, it spans over 40 feet in any direction unless she concentrates on a singular person or singular people. It's a passive ability and is only non-active when she is having a breakdown. It must be active for Feather Spray and Hand of Angel to work. • Feather Spray - Despite her wings small size she can pepper an enemy with razor sharp feathers, though these feathers will only home in on whoever her empathy ability is concentrated on at the time. So if her attention is grabbed by someone elses emotions, the feathers will go after that person instead. The damage tends to vary. 0 - 25% of feathers hitting deal low damage. 26 - 50% deal mid damage. 51% or higher deal heavy damage and it has a high range so she cannot use this on a constant basis she has to wait 6 turns/posts before she can use it again so that her feathers can regrow. • Hand of Angel - Yinei must have her Empathy active and must have used Feather Spray before she can use this. Lifting her right hand she doesn't need to lock on to the emotions of her enemy, instead she closes her own emotions off, becoming more a killer than the usual instance of herself. Her wings expand rapidly as light is sucked in to the palm of her hand from the surrounding area causing the entire battle area to fall in to darkness just for the duration of this ability, most likely blinding her enemy because the light is taken away so rapidly. She then unleashes what almost seems like a light based laser beam as she expels the energy she's collected from the palm of her hand tearing through her enemy. It can kill *with permission* but more often than not it will simply knock the enemy unconscious. She can use this three times in any one thread and must use feather spray again before the next use. |
